I see a lot of mention in this thread that #463 is secondary. And yes it is to the Cumbres & Toltec general operation. But that misses the point as to why #463 is being rebuilt in the first place.
Wasn't a large donation (that ideally should have covered a majority of the rebuild costs)
specifically donated solely for the rebuild of #463 to operating condition?
Has that donor (or group of donors) been kept abreast of the rebuild?
If I gave a large donation for such a specific purpose, I sure would like to be updated more so then what has been coming out thus far.
Maybe the donor(s) is getting better info then what gets reported to the masses. At least I would hope so.
