I had a 31 AA mail delivery truck (woody). I dragged it home when I was in Jr. High School and ultimately gave it to another Model A enthusiast. I wanted something uglier, and opted for a late 50's DeSoto.
A car I let slip their my hands from the early days that I still regret was a Twin-Six Packard. It was sold new in 23, but Packard sold them as "series" cars back then, not by model year. It was really neat !
If I go down that road again, I would like to find a 1940's vintage chop-job of a big 20's car, made into a truck. Something you used to see a lot of, but never see anymore. Pierce, Packard, Lincoln, Kissel, Locomobile, that kind of thing. Or maybe a C-cab TT from about 21-24 ?
