Probibly not a good idea. I don't know what agreement the D&S has with the F.S. but under industrial operating and burning permits, as long as the operator is in compliance and making a good faith effort, there is a limit to their liability. Otherwise they can be charged for the entire suppression cost, which often runs into millions. The last I knew of the cost of a helicopter was running upwards of $1,000 per hour, and that was some time ago.
