Charlie,

Several years ago, I had the opportunity to work with Ron Talbert of Pueblo, CO. He retired as a conductor from BNSF about three or four years ago. He was originally from Ridgway and his father and grandfather worked for the RGS (along with an uncle I believe). When the RGS dried up, his father hired out on the Santa Fe at Pueblo. That's how Ron ended up working for the Santa Fe and later BNSF. I wonder how he was related to the Talberts mentioned above.
