W.K. Paul was out-of-service pending a physical. H.D. Wolford worked for Brinkerhoff Brothers after the RGS folded. In that capacity he ran the the last locomotive over Marshall Pass.
The RGS and the D&RGW had an agreement to use each other's train and engine service employees when needed.
