I first heard of the green movement about 1971-73. I agree with the basics of better utilizing resources.

However, the Green movement became a militant terrorist group by spiking trees and getting in the way of fisherman and whalers. I do not like terrorists in any form. They have no business forcing their beliefs on others.

As far as the "scientific" model showing man is the cause for global warming - Gees.

I hope biocoal will work and not rise food prices. I have serious doubts. I am a skeptical optimist (optometrist) the way I see things.

The number of BTUs in a ton of coal is about 80% more than in a ton of seasoned Oak. Look it up on the net.

During WWII when when Germany lost the Rumanian oil fields, they used petrol made from coal. Talk about BTUs lost and the production expense.

I currently believe that the biocoal will end up like German petrol coal. An economic failure.

Of course, Alchemy is basically the capability of turning base metals into the gold or silver. We all know it's impossible correct? At the moment we have done this. In a nuclear reactor. Economically speaking it takes about $10 Million to produce a fraction of a gram of gold.

Change money to BTUs and now you have the biocoal concern of mine.
