Not surprising. Doubtful that such as the 41 could be under steam otherwise, considering what has been said about the boiler requirements. 'Course the photos of the 420 when she was delivered to the RGS in 1916 look exactly like the 42 of the 1930's except for the lettering. I wonder if they weren't actually rebuilt prior to sale?
