(4) Several of the key 'Summer of Seventy' volunteers - like 'Chile John' Pritchard -
have already passed on.   If we wait for the 50th Anniversary to re-enact the First
Train as a Tribute to the Volunteers, there my not be very many left to honor ...

(5) The railroad - and the town - need and deserve our support during this very
challenging time.

(6) It's a Troll-Free event - The JéBeeWex has said he's probably not going to be there.*

(7) Ed Stabler and friends have tentatively promised to provide some musical entertainment.

(8) My daughter Cindy (Jackelopette) has promised to provide free ear plugs in case Jeff Badger, Roger Hogan, Russo Loco and/or Skip Luke start(s) singing along with Ed's band.

(9) For the majority of NGDF lurkers and posters, this will (hopefully) be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see and photograph engine "#483" in the outlandish movie makeup which she was wearing in 1970 when she was the C&TS only operational locomotive. ("Beauty** [or ugly***] is in the eye of the beholder."  Welder's goggles optional).
