It would make sense and I hope the RR does think outside the box other than just running a train out of Antonito. I've heard one suggest that Soni could truck a K-36 to Antonito as a means of getting 2 operable locos on that end--heck they could even move a few coaches if they had to for capacity. And with all this going on they could still run short runs to Labato for those who couldn't do the longer trip. This way they maximize their earning potential with what they have on hand. I wouldn't try to call the RR myself but hope those who may read this board and others may be able to pass info on to the necessary parties while they deal with this crises. On the other hand the C&TS needs to get CNN to come down and do a story--if the marketing has been screwed up this could help bring attention to the RR--but TREY HAVE TO MAKE SURE THEY SAY TRAINS ARE RUNNING!!!!!! DON'T LET ANYONE SAY TRAINS AREN'T RUNNING OR IT'LL KILL THIS SEASON FOR SURE.
