C&TS interim trains-idea

Is there only one loco in Antonito? Why do an Antonito to Osier turn--just go all the way to Cumbres. It would be a more appealing trip and they can bus those needing to get to Chama down from Cumbres instead of Antonito. That way they would have to spend all that extra travel time on a bus. With the recent track upgrades can that type of trip work? If they had 2 loco's on the Antonito side then just use Cumbres as the western terminus and run them to Bighorn and back while the Antonito train could do a trip to Cumbres or Osier and return via the loop. How far off is the 487 from being operational? They may just need to use her for this scenario if she is in Antonito. Just some thoughts.
