Gasoline was carried to Taos Jct as there was a small Conoco jobber there. Gasoline was also sent from Santa Fe to Espanola. Regarding Illfeld's: The building still stands in Santa Fe, just north of and adjacent to the parking lots for Tomasita's (formerly DRGW/NMC station) and the Santa Fe station on Guadalupe Street. During Chili Line days Illfeld's siding was 3 rail trackage. If I recall correctly one of Jimmy's posts notes that the DRGW switch crew pushed a standard gauge ATSF reefer off the end of the siding and delayed the departure of 426. Question: I noted the spotting orders for "Monero Coal spur". Does anyone know exactly where this spur or spotting location was?
