The Charles Ilfeld Company was a big operation in Albuquerque for many years. They were distributors of all kinds of grocery items for, I suppose, most of New Mexico and southern Colorado. Their big warehouse stood on the west side of N. 1st. St. in Albuquerque, and backed up to the Santa Fe Railway. Ernie Robart should know what ever happened to the company, having lived in Abuquerque for most, if not all, of his life.
