Re: Santa Fe Branch wyes per GPS

November 04, 2001 10:45AM
No I haven't been to the site. I took the coordinates of the wye from the TerraServer site and entered them as a waypoint. The GPS unit that I have has a built in map so I just drew a perpendicular line over to highway 285 to find the distance. It also has the coordinates for most cities so it was easy to get a straight line distance to the nearest cities. One day I hope to explore some of this area.
