Rich, Christian et al -
Again, many thanks for your advice and encouragement.
I may have added to the confusion by perhaps using an incorrect term
- graininess - left over from my Tri-X vs Panatomic-X film days.
What I meant is probably called 'pixelation' in today's whirled. I.E., a photo looks sharp at 8"x10", not so great at 11"x14", and very fuzzy at 16"x20". I'd like to be able to make decent 12"x18" enlargements from at least a few of my shots without them looking fuzzy (the biggest paper my printer will take is 13"x19").
I glanced at the description of high-end digital cameras, but didn't notice any mention of Mamiya. I presume there is a digital back available now for the current descendent of the RB-67, the film version of which I lugged around from 1975 thru 1998, and which I sorely miss for image quality but not for processing expenses. I still have two Mamiya lenses - a 180mm and a 360mm - with in-the-lens shutters. Would these be compatible with the newest version of the RZ-67 (assuming there's a digital back available for it)?
Thanks again for your help!!
