The post office was located in the store/gas station. In the early 1980's I found the flattened remains of the gas station up there. The false front had fallen over flat and the remainder of the building was splinters. You could plainly see the location of the gas pumps and the filler for the underground fuel tank. Sometime later, the Forest Service came in and "cleaned up" removing the underground tank and in the process carted away almost all the building the remains. Very little is left, you have to know where to look. The only evidence I found was evidence on recent digging and fresh dirt.
