That sounds right from what I have seen. This means 483 was the last to operate for D&RGW over Cumbres pass, and the first as C&TS in 1970.
By the way seeing Mr. West did the first train of 1968, we did the end of that first one with 478 going to Farmington, followed by two more days of freight east of Durango with 498 and later 483 and 493 out of Chama. I wonder how many others got later runs that year....We could probably depict them all with some luck! I think there were something like 5 freight runs that year total, depending on how you count the December run!
Waiting for my new Robards book to show up in the mail so I can be accurate on this stuff!
