While you are collecting, I hope you are documenting. This means not only pictures but also a paper trail. Where it came from, what condition it was in, what you did to conserve the artifact are all questions that the next guy will want to ask. The historical significance of the piece is thus easier to explain to the layman.
By the way, a friend of mine who is an expert on Climax says that the trucks were probably from a pair of light weight flat cars sent to the Wild Goose when the locomotives were.
