George Hilton, in American Narrow Gauge Railroads, describes an 8 to 10 mile long railroad built in 1902 and abandoned in 1906. The operator, one Charles D. Lane, was also the builder of the Wild Goose Railroad out of Nome, Alaska. He transferred equipment, including one Class A Climax locomotive to the Golovin Bay. It is conceivable that when Lane purchased the 4 Climaxes for the Wild Goose, he also ordered flat cars from Climax Manufacturing. Hilton states that the Wild Goose railroad was sold with 3 Climaxes in 1906. The remaining engine could still be in Council City.
Climax archbar trucks were similar to Class A locomotive trucks as both had wooden bolsters. The locomotive wheels would most likely be spoked while the car wheels could be disc style. Look for key ways near the center of the axles
