Hi,
As I recall, the PRR "Hippo" 2-10-0s (I1sa) were built with the 2nd and 4th drivers fixed. The 3rd (middle) driver was blind and the 1st and 5th drivers had extra lateral motion.
The wheelbase was 22' 8" with 62" drivers. However the wheelbase from 2nd to 4th drivers was 11' 3".
A copy of form F412218 showed speed for locomotives and the minimum radius.
I suspect that the proposed C&S 2-10-2s could have had a very sharp turning radius.
