I agree with you, John. Time passes and the only way to mark the progress of time is to mark the changes that take place.
The volunteers and staff who put together the C&TS and the Loop should not be ignored nor snubbed by putting the name of the entity that wanted to scrap the line on the equipment.
Imagine how many photos would be taken today at Chama if the D&RGW was successful in its bid to scrap the line. With a bit more understanding and a few concessions from the D&RGW we could have the entire San Juan Extension intact today, even if it would be under different ownership.
Another reason that I'm not a big D&RGW fan.
