My dad worked in the loco shops on the Reading for 43 years,one uncle was an uplolster in the pass car dept. on the Reading and another uncle was a conductor on the Reading, Got to ride the cab of one of the last 2-8-0 camebacks when I was about 4 it switched the coaling tower in Reading, got to ride on the Reading Rambles behind the T 1's
Helped out in Chama during the first years along with Dan Ranger before the Friends, and now BOD and founder of the DRHS along with Jim Granflaten. Loved every minute, that's why we moved from Pa. to Colorado
