I'm not sure I understand your question. The Friends are engaged in dozens of preservation and restoration projects this summer, none of which divert resources from RGRPC, and none of which are intended to "drive revenue." RGRPC wouldn't be doing the "reversions," it would be a project agreed between the Friends and the Commission.
