As I was talking to Jim tonight 2/24/08 I brought up this topic. He dosen't recall this event but he thought of a similar event when he was firing for Frank when he was double heading a freight on one of the bridges the tender of his locomotive derailed he was the second locomotive. Apperantly the engineer of the first was a passenger service engineer and was going apperantly to fast for the rails therefore derailing the 2nd locomitive's tender. Frank didn't do the saftey however instead he whistled several times and finally got the train stopped before he crossed the bridge which was good because he if he didn't they could have fallen off the bridge or something else that we might not know could have happened. He preceeded to tell me that frank gave the engineer of the first a severe talking to mayebe he punched him I don't know I probably would have. I think he was telling me it was on the Chama-Durango line when this happened.
