Strictly from an historical point of view, having Antonito as a three-rail terminal might be worthwhile for both the SLRG and the C&TS, not to mention the town of Antonito. Given Antonito's history with the narrow gauge, it does make sense. Something else to use for promotion for both railroads and the town. I hope they go for it.

I don't think re-laying the third rail all the way to Alamosa is practical. It probably won't happen.
