Chris, I found your comments about getting out of the spouse's hair right in line with comments from my wife. Four years before I retired she began telling me I was gonna stay around home and drive her crazy. Then we visited SVRy the day # 19 maid her first run following restoration. I assured her I would not be at home. Now her comments are "You're going to McEwen again?!", if I go often, or "Why don't you go to the railroad?" if I don't go very often. It seems she has her schedule for me, and I have mine.
