I was one of the original 4 founders of the DRHS and still on the BOD.
The way it all started was one of our friends who was dying from cancer wanted to see it as it looked when it was still operating, so the large scale group got together and got permission from the city.
Tom never lived long enough to see it repainted. A few months later 4 of us got together and discussed forming a group to see if the 315 was worth cosmetic overhaul or complete restoration.
That was 1999 so from there you all know what happened we had a great group of volunteers and lots of finanshal help and outside help.
