Am looking for information on the history of the Wool Warehouse in the Chama yard. So far I have concluded that it does not appear in pictures prior to the late 1930's or early 40's. In looking at the railroad building inventories at the Colorado RR Museum library I found no mention of the building in either the 1908?? or later inventory of buildings which suggests that it did not belong to the RR. I asked Bob Richardson if he had any knowledge and he said that he did not have first hand knowledge but wondered if it belonged to a gentleman who ran a wool business in both Chama and Antonito. He could not remember the mans name however. Anyone out there have any additional information. The two warehouses are the buildings that we knew the least about when we were preparing the new yard tour brochure. (Other than the oil dealership at the southe end of the yard)
