The shower car mentioned, while last used by Stoddard, was actually a Baker White Pine car. Laura Hayse has a photo of it, taken in the 1960's, where the lettering is still visable. The floor and frame of the shower car are in fair condition, and part of the sides and roof are still there though collapsed. There are no trucks or draft gear, but I could not tell about brake rigging or truss rods. There are also truss rods and other hardware from two other camp cars which were burned.
The water tank from Stoddard Heisler No. 2 is located at the same site. The bottom was cut out and it was inverted and used for a stock watering tank. Interestingly, we found the bottom along the skyline road several miles from the camp site.
