El Presidente: Actually there are probably 3 Stoddard flats in the woods that I am aware of. 1 is primarily camp car remains that may be built on a flat and is pretty deteriated, another looks like a flat and the 3rd is definitly a flat. As I recall only one of the 3 has enough integrety left to bring out of the woods and even that might turn out to be a pile of pieces. An OLC flat in the woods was documented and remaining metal hdwe saved. I say remaining as someone had already torched off truss rods and all brake hdwe was gone. The wood was so rotten that metal parts simply had to be picked up out of the rotten debris. The metal parts are in safe keeping for a future project. Also in the woods is the remains of Stoddards Shower Car which is pretty far gone. I believe Ron Harr carefully documented it when it was more intact should anyone want to recreate it from scratch. There is probably some scraps of wood that could be saved, so a recreation could have at least a few elements of the original. I think I have 35mm prints of all of these that I have not scanned, and am not quite sure where are at the moment.
