The attitude of Stuhr changed about 10 years ago when a new "Curator" was hired. She stopped running the train immediately and began concentrating on "more important" things. Thus began the long, sad process of where we are to today.
The C&S baggage is the last remaining. Perhaps the Colorado Historical Society would be interested in supplementing their collection at Silver Plume. I wonder if they are aware of the situation on Nebraska.
The F&CC cars are rare as hens teeth. The F&CC coaches would make a grand addition to the F&CC car in Colorado Springs at the Western Mining museum.
I would be interested to see what other 3' gauge items they have, as 35 pieces of equipment are listed.
Maybe a smart young man can put a package purchase together.
