The 4-8-0s (TW class) were later used on the lighter rail branches. Tillamook until the rail was upgraded to heavier rail allowing the Harriaman consolidations. The Lakeview branch (xNCO) had a TW assigned for several years. All the light rail branches in the Willamette Valley used them. The one left in Bakersfield was retired off the Sunset Ry. The GE 70-tonners were bought in part as one for one replacements for the last 4-8-0s, being similiar weight on drivers and TE.
