At the risk of being a wet blanket ...
The guys at Knott's Berry Farm are die-hard RGS/D&RGW fans also. To their credit, they have the only operating RGS locomotive and wouldn't trade what they have for any amount of money. They wouldn't want Disnelyand's equipment.
They have convinced the corporate board of Knott's to allow them to paint the equipment to the classic railroad scheme.
In 2000, they finished restoration of the "Edna" back to better than original condition - very pristine. They are now working on "Durango". It will be green with gold lettering, as is "Edna".
To not be a dream-killer, think about the current rage = TOUR THE EQUIPMENT!!!
Knott's was going to bring Goose 3 to Durango, but that conflicted with their own railroad celebration this year. If the guys at Knott's could show good reason to tour their equipment to their bosses, Durango Railfest and C&TS could have one heck of a show. Imagine RGS 41 with a Knott's business car folling Eureka.
So, if you want to see Knott's equipment in Colorado, consider the above ... consider the proposal to Knott's for touring their equipment.
