lets get this straight right here and now. ANY steam locomotive that operates as near to capacity as the locomotives of the loop, the CATS, and the D&S, is being "run into the ground". the trick is to not let the locomoitve get so worn out that you start breaking things from all the banging. where the line is drawn is a direct translation of the condition of the railroad, some can afford to keep them preety "tight" others need to wing it and do the best they can (whitch all considering is preety darn good), others seem to push the limit at times....
