Greg,
John is right: great work.
Is the extension bracket telephone a telegraph phone? Was that used for train orders or only for emergencies (like train crews calling in)?
Shouldn't the sounder in the resonator box be a local rather than a main line sounder? I thought the latter were only on through circuits with no relay and local battery so that the other circuits could be monitored and cut in to the local circuit from the switchboard when needed.
Will you have a recorded message to let people know what it really sounded like when these professionals were at work? Some of those operators were really fast. I remember once listening to a couple of operators chatting over the morse line on the Wabash whan I was a kid. At the time I had been trying to learn a bit of code, but they were way too fast for me.
I'm really happy to see this set up right where it belongs.
