As usual Gerald R. Best's extensive roster research provides the answers to some of these questions, this time in his article about "Railroads of Guatemala and El Salvador" in the RL&HS Bulleting 104 of April 1961.
Assuming that was indeed the IRCA 111 when it came north, then Best reports that it was built by Baldwin as the 116 in April 1926, builders number 59164 (is there still a builders plate on it?) In a general renumbering that occurred in 1928 it became the 111. Best provides the mechanical specs as 40-16.5x20-102800-95100-180-20800.
The IRCA engines were actually lettered F.I.de C.A. (IRCA in Spanish).
The specs for the 44 are given as 38-16x20-93400-85750-180-20600.
I see this duplicates another post, but what the heck.
