Possibly--but as they do have timetalbes for maint. we all know that unexpected things happen and when they do they have to have a back up plan. I don't really understand why people seem to think restoring any of the K-37's seems so far fetched. They were the mainstays during the Rio Grande days--at the end of operations in 1968 there were more servicable K-37's on the roster than K-36's. If the C&T is going to grow and handle more ridership it's a fact they will need at least 6-7 operable locomotives in the loop. Potentially 5 K-36's, 1 K-27, and 1 or 2 K-37's.
