to understand the problem you need to look at the facts. al bought the railroad on borrowed money
high interest money. al's trying to refinance at a lower rate so the profit has to look good to the banks. so profits are up and every aspect of the rr is cut down.companys self insured employee health plan scam costs employees a lot more but it don't pay the doctors bills employees end up having to pay out of pocket. wages not keeping up with other jobs in Durango, 401k moved from old company to new people except they say they don't have the money. very high employee turnover rate would be getting higher except a lot are not being replaced. so I don't think the tanks are a priority right now
