Pardon me, I was led to believe (by members of the Boulder Model RR Club) that it was an exact replica but made of lighter weight materials. I would say it looked great.
I do know it ran on the #346 at CRRM but that would hardly qualify as "service" in comparison with the way the C&S ran them.
Why do you suppose it fell apart after being used on the #9 last year? I'm not trying to pick a fight here - just curious. The #9 looked good before they put the bear trap on it but that finished it off as a "C&S" engine.
Now if they can get the #9 running as good as it looked we'll all be happy.
