Skip, these series of light Mikados were on a par with the D&RGW K-27's. Since the Georgetown Loop had used former IRCA Consols, I don't see these little 2-8-2's as being that much heavier.
They had about 55 tons on the drivers with a total engine weight of 146,300 lbs. on 40" drivers.
Do you feel that they would be too heavy for the GLRR or have too long a rigid wheelbase?
