Thanks Doug Vv I will look Kevin up and contact him.
Steve Z, Why would you take the time to offer suggestions like those? Your comments really pissed me off.
Did I say that those drawings do not exit? No, I did not. Those drawing do exist, I have seen them and the D&S has them and will not sell them. I have no intention to ever start to freelance on an existing locomotive, its boring and it is used as an excuse to do work that I would be ashamed of putting my name on in most every case, so I choose to not do that.
Your comment about doing "field work" in Durango is nuts, does anyone have a life time to devot to visiting Durango once a year for the next decade to build a locomotive? If you have the drawings you don't have to go to Durango yearly. And FYI I have access to anything in Durango and C&TS, but they are a long ways away, humans created drawings to work around situations like that.
Littel River, they went broke and into hiding a few years ago. Another bad suggestion.
The drawings you want for your trench loco exist and they are in multiple locations, so go get them and use them and stop discouraging the builders who aspire to do good work.
