Don't want to get in the middle of a nasty fight, but the Antonito Ledger newspaper had accounts of the scrapping in several issues in the fall and winter of 41-42. No details about locomotives, just mentions of the line being scrapped and the pulled rail being stored in the yards in Antonito. I have hard copies of the articles, but not in electronic form. Will type them and post them one of these days.
