Oh, the places I could jump to from here - but don't worry I won't!
Having spent many years working with Unix, Win3.1, Win9x, WinNT, Macs,
and a number of other operating systems, I still work nearly every day on
both Unix and Windows systems. But, I find I like my Mac best.
It's kinda like comparing standard gauge to narrow-gauge (see, I can make
this relevant! sorta...). Windows and MS dominate the landscape, much like
std gauge railroads. But NG has all the flavor, appeal, and 'magic' that makes
it so much more interesting. I find PCs bland, and poorly designed in the lower
levels. Useful, yes, but still bland.
But use what you like! The main point is to use Windows and Macs, and
Unix and whatever else you need to get the job done.
