My gripe with calenders is a lack of variety. I was looking at my collection of old calenders since 1979. There were a few shots of C&S narrow gauge equipment, a few more of the old mainline area between Salida to Montrose and Ouray. Lots of Alamosa,Durango,Silverton & Farmington. However on the plus side there has been a good number of RGS shots. I would rather see shots of the right-of-way or structures than lots of shots of the Durango yard or the current filler of contempoary shots. I do not like to see the same shot recycled several years later. An example of this is the current Cedco Calendar shot of #486 at Maysville. I dont want this to sound like a bitch fest as overall I am pleased by the products and will continue to buy them. I would like to see a non Colorado calendar of color or black & white shots of other roads. the market is out there if some one is willing to produce these items.
