Whistles on the D&S and the C&TS locomotives

I have a question, are the multi-chime whistles that are on the various K28, K36 and K37 locomotives currently in use, are they all D&RGW-standard whistles? Or have some other whistles crept in (CB&Q, C&S, etc). The big steam engine whistles are rare and hard to find these days and I always wondered if the Durango & Silverton and the Cumbres & Toltec had been able to keep their locos equipped with the historically-equipped examples. Any info on what engines is wearing which origin of whistle would be of great interest to me. They all sound great....
