Early Ski Train

66 People on Excursion Sunday
-part-
Another interesting feature was the fact that the excursionists witnessed the beginning of a terrific mountain storm on the way back home and some anxiety was felt when the storm became a raging blizzard, but the double header train whose first engine was equipped with a snow plow, cleared the drifts from the track and the train arrived in Antonito 45 minutes late.
Some of those making the trip got off at Cumbres and skied, others went on to Chama, where two coaches were set out, and spent the time between trains there.
