He was drinking with that orical again.
Don't put to much faith in the shop plans at the end of the wye.
I really would like to belive this one as as the current setup is stacked against the shop in a big way. I have maintained 5&6 engines in Chama ,I Know what it takes and I know how to do it with low funding.
Getting emergency funding to bail out the railroad in short time is one thing. Adding a third shop facility is a hard sell.
The delibrate interjection with SHIPO,of a few meddling arm chair quarter backs did back in 1997,with intent to derail any forward progress with improving the current shop facility was the the straw that broke the "Campbell's" back.
As I said I would love to belive that somthing more workable like a new shop at the end of the wye is just around the corner.
Then again a few years ago I wouldn't have belived that failing to have equipment ready when needed would be a step forward for the shop, as it was.
So maybe I'm all wet here,But the current set-up will burn out the shop again. and the trip back to one engine avaliable for oporation is short.
Just saying what I belive. No intention of hurting anyones fellings.
