A picture of the collapsed Gato tank was posted earlier, but here's a shot taken October 16, 2006, from the rear of the tank. Ken Francis, who works in community outreach with Ft. Lewis College and with the Ignacio Utes, took this picture. He was going to approach them about salvaging any useful parts from this, and I wished him well. Despite the sadness of this location, maybe I'll revisit, if nothing else to say hello to the cats.
