I did not want to put anyone off on the HOn3 Brass market. There are quite a few very good running HOn3 engines that do not need a lot of tinkering. The PFM K-27's were good, the Fuji K-36 and 37 are outstanding engines, and the Balboa C-21 and C-25 are both very good runners (with new motors). I have not tried any of the "new" brass like overland,PSC, and Sunset, are kind of hit and miss as to which ones run and which ones dont.
