It's exciting how much has been done in the past 10 years.
While I was driving up to work today I was thinking the CATS could soon run a rotary train with "diamond stacks." I was thinking they could use the large engines to plow the worst of the tracks (with the rotary) and at Cumbres switch to the C's and or T's class locomomtives to plow on the downgrade for photos, etc. It's a pipe dream but would be pretty neat to see.
