I don't know about Presto logs, but this wood product contains no binders or chemicals, and the machinery just installed is being partially financed through a loan to Muscanell from Region 9 in Durango. It is an economic development loan, and I'm on that loan committee. We've been working on this for several months, and the potential sales to the D&S have factored into the equation. Muscanell's products are suberb--if you've visited the museum in Telluride, the wood flooring used throughout is Ash produced by Muscanell. And if this helps the railroad out, then it's a locally derived solution financed locally.
This is the same loan program that helped keep the railroad afloat after the 2002 fires through emergency loans.
